Pecunix
Pecunix is a digital
gold currency founded in 2002 by Simon Davis and its registered office is in the
Republic of Panama. Similar to competing systems as E-Gold, Pecunix allows the
immediate transfer of gold between user accounts.
Pecunix provides an alternative to various currencies competitors gold. A
benefit claimed by many proponents of gold is to maintain the activities of
various currencies, so that avoids some inflationary risks. Another advantage is
supported by low commissions. Transactions made in the system Pecunix pay a fee
of 0.50% for payments of up to 100 grams of gold and 0.15% for an amount of over
100 grams up to a maximum fee of 3 grams. The minimum payment of the fee is
0.0001 gram.
According to Jim Davidson, author of The Indomitus Relations, Pecunix has never
had a security breach of any kind and never had an account emptied by a trojan
or has suffered phishing attacks. Its software integrates PGP to improve the
privacy and security.
